About this plant
Dwarf Sag Carpet Grass brings a grassy look to your aquarium. It spreads by sending out new shoots and is an approachable choice for a first planted tank.
Is this right for me?
A manageable plant option when you can provide the light and placement listed below. Follow the planting steps rather than burying every plant in gravel.
How to place and care for it
Plant in suitable aquarium gravel or plant soil. Leave room for new shoots to spread and thin them out if the plants become crowded.
Light and placement
Light: Low aquarium lighting. Place it: Front of tank. No extra CO2 needed. CO2 means carbon dioxide, a gas plants use to grow. Adding extra CO2 needs separate aquarium equipment.
What you get
Options include a single loose plant or a pot; choose the available option.

Live animals travel best when someone is home: bring the box inside as soon as it arrives and keep it out of the sun or cold.
Live Arrival Guarantee. If an eligible animal arrives dead, take a photo in the unopened bag and one on a paper towel, then email hello@tailsandfin.com within 12 hours of delivery. Snails can rest up to 5 days and plants about 15 days to settle. Read the full policy.
Acclimating: float the closed bag for 15 to 20 minutes, then add a little tank water every few minutes for 30 to 60 minutes (shrimp like it slow), net them into the tank and pour the bag water away. Keep the lights low for the rest of the day.
